Live arts organisation SLAP presents a free exhibition of contemporary artworks at the Salt+Powell art space on Little Stonegate. Six distinctive artists will be living and working together in a studio space over a 48-hour period to create original works that will be put on show to the public at the exhibition event, which takes place this Saturday night, 1 November, at 6pm.
The next few months are set to see a varied set of events presented by live arts initiative SLAP, combining performing arts players from in and around York.

SLAP (Salacious Live Alternative Performance) will be hosting a night of talent on the 17 April, having invited final year and recently graduated students of dance, theatre and film to submit new proposals of work to be performed at a venue in York.
On the 17 April 2014, The Duchess will be playing host to an exciting artistic performance opportunity fronted by the Yorkshire dance agency, SLAP (Salacious Live Alternative Performance).
